Finally an update! :)

When I started this blog I promise I had good intentions to update it often. But I guess it's better late than never. Since my last post a lot has happened. Emma has turned 6 months, can crawl, and has had her first belly laugh. Murray has started working at Jiffy Lube and is halfway his schooling! And I am still just playing mom and going to school.

I never thought Emma would grow up so fast. Yesterday Murray was playing peek-a-boo with her and she laughed. I don't think I have ever heard such joy come out of her mouth! She is the cutest thing and her laugh is just icing on the cake.

Her crawling is so fun. She is just starting out but we know she is going to be a quick little girl. She is starting to become curious and puts everything she can find in her mouth. It is bittersweet how quickly she is growing. We love that she will soon be big enough to go do fun things, but its hard to lose the little baby who just wants to cuddle. She is 6 months going on 16. She definitely gets her attitude from her momma :)

She loves going swimming and helping us do things. She loves watching Murray fix his car and like to pretend she is helping. She loves playing with her dad, and whenever he comes home her face lightens up! She is daddy's little girl.

We hope everything is going good with everyone. We miss you all, and cannot wait until we can come home!

 

 

 

 

Christmas is almost here! We are really lucky and have some great neighbors who gave us a little 4 foot tree! They have been very nice and helpful and we are glad that they are right next door. We plugged in the tree and once the lights started glowing, Emma was amazed and in love!

That is her amazed face! She gets the biggest grin on her face when she gets to see the lit up Christmas tree. We still have a lot of shopping to do, but one thing is for sure.. This little girl is definitely going to be spoiled for her first Christmas!

Family pictures have turned out to be a bummer, we went to JCPenney's to get our photos taken. Both Emma and Murray were NOT in the mood. But after 45 minutes of waiting; an hour of crying; and one quick flash of the camera, here is our finished product..

 

 

and yes, Murray is wearing his hat. :) Emma finally cried herself to sleep and allowed us to get 2 pictures to choose from. That was our first experience of her being that upset, I guess she gets her "love" of the camera from her dad. I think she knew that he did not want to be there, so she was just letting me, and everyone in the store, know she was on his side. She is definitely her daddy's little girl.. but lucky for me she was loving all the attention when she had her newborn pictures taken.

 Now does that look like a face that doesn't like getting her picture taken? I sure don't think so. She LOVED it! Next time we have our pictures taken I will have Murray pretend to be happy, then maybe she will be on my side. :)

Hello from hot and sandy ARIZONA!
We miss everyone like crazy and to keep you updated on all that is going on I have decided to start a blog.. Wish me luck. :) Emma is 2 months old now, and is discovering new things every day. She has found her hands and thinks they are pretty yummy. Murray is going to school at UTI for mechanics, and has a 4.0! We are very proud! As for me, im just playing mom and trying to keep up with the online classes im taking right now.
Arizona is not too bad, but it's not home. We are sure about one thing though, it will be one heck of and adventure.
